Asdoo has created and developed world-first technology, which is a system and method of loading available supplier meeting/conference allocations, which automatically enables the product to be:

  • Packaged in a variety of ways which are customised by consumers including:
    • the addition of food and beverage
    • the addition of audio visual equipment
    • the addition of accommodation rooms
  • Priced according to packaged product
  • Priced according to target market segment
  • Extrapolated to obtain maximum exposure of products and packages available without over or under selling inventory.

In essence the technology is the ability for a supplier to enter data into a matrix, which uses data fields to extract and extrapolate the results.

Ability to price according to session time

By entering data into specific fields in the matrix, the allotment is utilised to display different pricing dependant on the consumer’s preferred session, i.e. full day, half day and evening.

Ability to discount price using a preset override a discount code selection mechanism

By entering data in specific fields in the matrix, the conference/meeting displayed price will be adjusted according to the amount of food and beverage purchased.  In some instances the room rate will is discounted when the applicable food and beverage spend is achieved.

Ability to discount based on corporate codes

By entering their unique code corporate customers receive discounts set by the hotel/venue.  These codes can also be used to apply one-off promotional offers.

Ability to incorporate market segment accommodation pricing

By entering pricing data in specific fields, meetings booked with accommodation are priced specifically for the conference market segment. This pricing is closed from view by the general market place and can only be explored and confirmed via the meeting and conference booking process. This allows suppliers to have the flexibility to display pricing to meeting bookers without allowing the general market to view that pricing.
This has been a traditional method of pricing from hoteliers selling product direct to the conference marketplace.
